Our Past Challenges
This is the Smilebox video of the  2014 California State Parks challenge quilts made by members of the Quilters' Sew-ciety of Redding, Inc. and includes photos from some of the venues where the quilts were exhibited for two years.  This was the 2014 quilt challenge to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the California State Parks.  It also sparked a state-wide effort to make quilts of the state parks (which are shown on the Calif. This is a Smilebox video that was made by The Quilt Life founders Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims and posted to their website, and features the 2012 River of Quilts Challenge by the Quilters' Sew-ciety of Redding depicting 25 quilts of the Sacramento River.   The quilts were hung in a staggered manner next to each other lining up the river, so that the river flowed through the 50 feet of the exhibit.  This exhibit travelled and was exhibited for 18 months.
